FOURTH TIME IN  ENGLISH CLUB

It was my fourth time in English speaking club. Today’s main topic was food. Honestly, it was challenging to speak about it when you hungry. Our firsts exercises were to make an advert for our strange drink which contains salo and other unusual ingredients. We made up a story about Cossacks, and I suppose it sounded quite good. All descriptions were exciting and had original names like “bee” or “pilot on a high,” etc. After that, we had to tell the recipe of different dishes. Ours was borsch. I was amazed that boys know how to cook it better than girls. But it was funny and very cognitively.

On the fourth time of my English club meeting, I felt a little bit tired. I had two tests on that day, and my mood was not perfect — but in a few minutes, the situation changed completely. Johnny came up with a new, exciting, and unbelievably simple theme of our class - food. I think all of us love food, so the idea was just perfect. We were divided into small groups of several people, with a specific task to tell others how to cook a particular dish. We have to do it with borsch and whar the most exciting detail about it - boys know much better the receipt and ingredients. Our next task was to make an advertisement for a little unusual drink. We had a cocktail with salo and other exciting products. This club was some of the strangest in my life, but I liked it.
